STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WSAU) – An 87-year-old Stevens Point man has been found.

Stevens Point police released a statement this morning that Carl Pawelski had been found around 10 am. Portage County authroties used the county's Code Red system to put out an emergency call for help to the entire county around 9 am. Pawelski was found about a half hour later in a swampy area behind a home by a man walking his dog.

Pawelski was coherent enough to tell police his name and that he'd been outside overnight in the rain. He was taken to the hospital. His condition is not known at this time.
