WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) Yesterday morning's crash on Highway 51 in Wausau took a life.

A 38-year-old Rosholt woman died after her Chevy Malibu spun out and crashed into a truck.

Police say the car was in the center lane when it lost control and crashed into the semi's rear axle. The car became lodged under the truck after the crash.

There were two people inside the vehicle. The survivor was taken to Wausau-Aspirus Hospital. No names have been released. The truck driver was uninjured.

The name of a driver involved in Monday's crash on Highway 51 in Rib Mountain has been identified. 49-year-old Sandra Burton of Schofield lost control of her SUV and crashed into a truck near Highway N. She's in critical condition at Wausau-Aspirus Hospital.
