MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WTAQ) - A Milwaukee man was charged Thursday with stabbing his ex-girlfriend to death.
36-year-old Gregory Thompson faces a count of first-degree intentional homicide in the death of 30-year-old Kewonda Boyd.
Prosecutors said she was stabbed 3 times while leaving her house on Monday morning to go to work. Court records showed that a restraining order was sought against Thompson last October.
The person who asked for the restraining order was not named – and the case was dropped after the petitioner failed to show up for a court hearing.
