Arizona (WHBL-Learfield) - The Milwaukee Brewers won an exhibition slugfest against San Francisco yesterday, 12-to-8. Outfielder Jeremy Reed hit a three-run homer in the fifth inning, when Milwaukee scored six times. And Brewers’ outfielder Brandon Biggs added his second homer of the spring in the seventh. Former Brewer Jeff Suppan gave up three runs in the fourth and three more in the fifth. Milwaukee starter Randy Wolf gave up three runs in the third inning on a triple and three straight doubles. The Brewers are now 11-and-6 in the Cactus League, and will play Cleveland this afternoon. Meanwhile, two more Brewers were hurt yesterday. Outfielder Chris Dickerson injured a rib cage muscle against the Giants, and outfielder Logan Schafer hurt a thumb. Manager Ron Roenicke said Dickerson would be okay, but he wasn’t certain about Schafer – who will have more X-rays.
