Madison, Wi (WSAU) Wisconsin running back Montee Ball was named today as the Big Ten’s offensive football player-of-the-week. The junior ran for three touchdowns and passed for another in the Badgers’ 59-to-7 home pounding of Indiana on Saturday.

Ball had 14 carries for 142 yards, plus a 46-yard catch. He also threw a 25-yard scoring pass to quarterback Russell Wilson. Ball accounted for 213 total yards as the Badgers improved to 2-and-0 in the conference, and 6-and-0 overall. Ball has scored at least once in each of his last 12 contests.
