UNDATED, WI (WTAQ) - Sky gazers have a big weekend on the way. It’s a spectacular show in the sky called the Perseids meteor shower.
Peak activity is expected Saturday night, starting at about 10 p.m.
One expert says it’s best after midnight. The best place to view the Perseids is any place away from city lights. When you find that place, you should look about half-way up while facing the northeastern sky.
People viewing the Perseid meteor shower in Wisconsin should expect to see about 15 to 30 meteors per hour, but could see double or triple that amount.
