MERRILL, WI (WSAU) - The woman arrested November 26th near Merrill during a traffic stop, only to have officers discover a large quantity of drugs has entered a not-guilty plea.
23-year-old Cassiopia Conlin was recognized as a wanted woman by the Merrill officer the night she was arrested, even after lying about her identity. Finding 84 grams of methamphetamine, 1 gram of LSD, and 3 grams of heroin in her car just added more charges to her list. District Attorney Donald Dunphy argued there enough evidence to charge her with possession and her intent to sell the drugs. She faces six new felony charges. Conlin’s attorney Justin Wolff has asked for a new judge for his client.
38-year-old Jimmie Joannon of Merrill and 49-year-old Danny Hanson of Wausau were passengers in Conlin’s car. They were also arrested that night on drug charges.
