WESTON, Wis. (WSAU) - Crews are still on scene this morning at a fire that destroyed a Weston strip mall.
The fire started around 8:45 last night at a mostly unoccupied Strip Mall near St Clares hospital in Weston. Reports say a fire spread across the roof of the building, leading to three or four separate fires inside the structure. Most of the roof has collapsed.
The only active business inside the building was a Subway restaurant. There were some people inside when the fire started, but reports say everyone made it out safely.
The state fire marshal has been called in to help investigate.
