ROTHSCHILD, WI (WSAU)  -  Rothschild residents and village leaders will say goodbye to a long-time public servant Saturday. 

Rothschild Fire Department Chief Steven Fritz passed away Monday in his home of a suspected heart attack. The 58-year-old has been the Rothschild Fire Department Chief since 2007. Representatives from several fire departments locally and from across the state are expected at Fritz’s services. The family has asked that memorials go to The Humane Society or the Rothschild Fire Department.

Visitation is Friday from 4-to-8 and the funeral starts Saturday at 11-o-clock at the Patriot Center in Rothschild.
