ANIWA, WI (WSAU) - A man is dead and a woman is hospitalized after a two car crash near Aniwa Saturday. A southbound Buick driven by Thomas V. Koszarek of Antigo crossed the centerline into the path of a northbound pickup driven by Patricia White of Antigo.

White told investigators the car crossed the line and turned sharply in front of her. White remains hospitalized. Her condition has not been released. Shawano County deputies say Koszarek was not wearing a seat belt and White was. They also do not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.

Coroner Mike Jesse says Koszarek may have been deceased prior to the vehicles colliding.
