MADISON, WI (WSAU) - Another election is gearing up before you can say, “Merry Christmas.”
Governor Scott Walker announced Monday there will be a special election to fill the 98th Assembly seat serving Milwaukee’s western suburbs of Brookfield, Pewaukee, and Sussex. That’s because Paul Farrow won the election, but also won the December 4th special election to the 33rd Senate district seat. If a primary is needed, it would be February 19th. The general election will be April 2nd. Many local school, judge, and municipal races will be on the spring ballot, as will the State Superintendent’s race.
