WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) Logan Taylor of Wausau East was named the winner of the Win Brockmeyer Award Thursday . The award, named after the long time Wausau High School football coach, is given to the top senior football player from the four local high schools.

Taylor will receive a $2,000 scholarship. The other nominees, Ryan Fay of Wausau West, Jared Pankow of DC Everest and Matthew Heeg of Wausau Newman receive $500 scholarships.

The award is presented by the Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin.
