If The Voice and The X Factor have left you flat and you're dying for the new season of American Idol , here's some good news: you'll be able to catch the first episode of the new season a week before it airs on TV.
Fox is premiering the episode on January 9 in theaters in select cities. The screening will be followed by a nationwide, interactive Q&A with Ryan Seacrest , Mariah Carey , Randy Jackson , Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban . The Q&A will be streamed live on AmericanIdol.com and Livestream.com. You can submit your questions for the host and judges now at the American Idol Facebook page and via Twitter at @AmericanIdol.
To receive free tickets to the premiere screening, log on to IdolRSVP.com and submit your name and contact information. The show officially returns on Fox January 16.
