WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) - A Wausau woman has apparently reached a plea deal after being accused of embezzling from her disabled sister. 55-year-old Nancy Rodemeier was charged with taking over $38,000 from her sister, with much of that money used for gambling.
Rodemeier was her sister’s legal guardian at the time. Defense attorney Jim Connell claims this is a dispute among family members and never should have been criminally charged.
Terms of the plea deal have not been made public yet, and there is no court date on the calendar at this time.
