RHINELANDER, WI (WSAU) - Bad weather delayed court actions around the state, including a ruling about the wof hunt, and sentencing for two Vilas County men.
52-year-old Bruce Jacobsen is the Rhinelander doctor convicted of having child pornography on his computer. Due to the storm, Oneida County court officials will try again to sentence him on Valentines Day at 9:00 a.m.
81-year-old Elmer Goetsch of Three Lakes now admits to recording nude movies of interns working in his house. Goetsch was to enter a plea and be sentenced yesterday, but his sentencing will now be February 14th at 1:30 p.m.
In Madison, Judge Peter Anderson was to issue an oral ruling on the use of dogs for wolf hunting. It now appears hunting quotas will be reached and the season will finish before Anderson issues the ruling January 4th.
