BENTON COUNTY, MN (WTAQ) - Angelina O'Mara of Cold Spring will spend the rest of her life in prison for killing her ex-husband in October 2011.

The 39-year-old O’Mara was sentenced Friday after pleading guilty to first-degree murder last month.

She admitted to shooting James O'Mara in the head as he slept on a couch in his Sauk Rapids apartment.

O'Mara said nothing at her sentence hearing. She's also charged in the shooting death of her boyfriend, Michael Pies of Blaine, in Ashland County.
