MADISON, Wis. (WSAU) - Aggressive play wasn’t enough for the Wisconsin Badgers at home Saturday night.
The men’s hockey team dropped a 2-1 decision to St. Cloud State, giving the Huskies a sweep of the weekend action. Wisconsin took 42 shots on goal and held a 1-0 lead going into the final period. St. Cloud State scored twice to take the victory in Badger coach Mike Eaves 400th game. Wisconsin took 18 shots in the final period but none found the range.
Wisconsin’s record drops to 12-14-2, including 7-13-2 in the WCHA.
