Adele may have had to cancel most of her North American tour last year due to illness and vocal issues, but that didn't stop her from winning an award for it. Adele was named Best New Touring Artist of the Year at the 23rd annual Pollstar Concert Industry Awards, which were handed out Friday night in Los Angeles.
The big prize, however, was Major Tour of the Year, and that went to Lady Gaga for her Monster Ball. In response, a delighted Gaga tweeted, "Ah! Such a tremendous honor...Thank you so much!!! Next tour is soon!" In fact, Gaga has promised to reveal her stage set to fans Tuesday via Twitter.
