ST GERMAIN, Wis (WSAU) The Vilas County sheriffs department has two people in custody in connection with a break-in at a pharmacy in St. Germain last week. The suspects were arrested over the weekend. The break-in happened on Wednesday.
Sheriffs investigators worked with Lac du Flambeau tribal police. They’ve also impounded a vehicle that may have been used as a get-away car.
The suspect’s names won’t be released until they make court appearances on Monday.
The investigation started when a back door was left over at the St. Germain Pharmacy on U.S. 70. That set off an alarm. When police arrived, it was apparent the shop had been broken into. Pills were taken from the storage area.
