WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) – A former firefighter will stand trial for setting the trailer he had just been evicted from on fire.

Keith Rosenow is charged with three counts of recklessly endangering safety and one count of unsafe burning of a building. He remains jailed on a $15,000 cash bond.

Prosecutors say Rosenow started the fire January 31st at his trailer in the Lazy Acres mobile home park. He told investigators he used a torch and gasoline to start the fire.

Park managers had evicted Rosenow’s family from the trailer. Witnesses say the family had left about 7 p.m. after moving out their belongings.
