WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) The Wisconsin Woodchucks have announced the signings of two pitchers from UC-Santa Barbara. Austin Pettibone and Cameron Cuneo will pitch for the Chucks this summer.
Pettibone is a fresman right-hander whose father jay played in the majors with the Minneosta Twins and brother Jon is pitching in the Phillies minor league system. He had an 8-1 record and era of 2.65 in his senior year of high school
Cuneo is a sophomore lefty who worked out of the bullpen in his freshman year. He also pitched last summer in the West Coast Collegiate League with the Bend Elks.
