CADOTT, WI (WTAQ) - An autopsy will be performed Friday morning on the body of a woman found dead at a campsite at a rock music festival near Cadott in Chippewa County.

Sheriff’s officials do not suspect foul play.

Rescuers and sheriff’s deputies were called to the Rock Fest campground just before 9:45 a.m. Thursday, where they found the 38-year-old woman unresponsive.

The rescuers were not able to revive her, and she was taken to a medical facility where she was pronounced dead.

Undersheriff Gene Gutsch said the woman was from outside Wisconsin.

Rock Fest features more than two dozen performers. It started Thursday and runs through Sunday.
