WHITEWATER, WI (WSAU) Three-time defending national champion U-W Whitewater is Number-One in the national small college football pre-season poll from D-Three-Football-Dot-Com. The Warhawks went 15-and-0 a year ago, and the team they defeated in the Division-Three title game – Mount Union – is second in the new poll.

Wesley College is third. The only other Wisconsin team in the pre-season Top-25 is U-W Platteville at Number-23. The Pioneers went 7-and-3 last fall. U-W Oshkosh also received votes.
