WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) A number of area high school  baseball players were recently honored by the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association on their All-State team.

Alex Cordova of Merrill was named first team. Logan Mallek of Stevens Point and Nick Yenter of Rosholt made second team and Zach Iverson of Rib Lake recieved 3rd team honors.

Honorable Mention picks from the area include Wyatt Brown of DC Everest, Nick Buntrock of Rapids Assumption, Willie Doll of amherst and Rhinelanders Joe Zuiker & Lucas Michlig.
