At the time, Justin Bieber seemed to be doing a good job handling last year's paternity scandal, in which a woman named Mariah Yeater accused him of fathering her baby.  But in an interview with the British magazine Fabulous, Justin admits that the stress of the situation had him thinking about leaving the music biz.

“At the beginning of it all happening I was in Florida, away from my friends and family, and I was pretty sad. I got to the point where I thought: ‘I don’t want to do this. I just want to be normal,'" he tells Fabulous .  So what changed his mind?  "I started thinking about all the things I wanted to accomplish in life and where I wanted to go and what I wanted to do," Justin explains. "And it all led back to performing and the music. So that’s why I’m here."

Justin now says that Yeater "doesn't take any of my energy" anymore, adding, "I feel sorry for her more than anything."

His relationship with another woman, Selena Gomez , is of course one of the highlights of Justin's life, and he talks about that in the magazine as well. "My first kiss with Selena was the best of my life. It was in the car. It was scary and spontaneous and it was just awesome."

Asked to describe what love feels like, Justin reveals. "It feels good. If you’re really in love then you should get butterflies. Butterflies and happiness, that’s how I feel anyway."  However, Justin says he never wants to "throw [my relationship] in fans' faces," explaining, "I love my fans and I’d never want to do that to them. It’s my private life and I like to keep that separate. I don’t have many things that I get to myself but that’s one thing."'
