"Moves Like Jagger" by Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera was the biggest hit in years by both acts.  It reached #1, sold millions of digital downloads and earned the band and Christina a Grammy nomination.  That's why it's surprising to hear that Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine says he was initially so worried about the track, he lost sleep.

Speaking to the New York Times Magazine , Adam says he convinced the rest of the group to record the song, despite its incredibly cocky lyrics, which basically involve Adam comparing himself to iconic Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger .  But afterwards, Adam says, he felt kinda guilty about it.

"I remember not being able to sleep, thinking, I don’t know if I should proclaim to the world that I indeed have the moves like Jagger," recalls Adam. Thankfully, he got over his concern.

Maroon 5's new album, Overexposed , hits stores Tuesday, but Adam says it doesn't contain any songs that he expects to have the impact of "Moves Like Jagger."  "There are only a few bizarre cultural moments that you're going to have," explains Adam. "We only want one ‘Macarena.’ ”
