Is it possible that the posthumous Michael Jackson album Michael doesn't actually feature Michael? TMZ.com reports the King of Pop's daughter, Paris , told friends in an online video chat in 2010, prior to the album's release that year, that someone other than her dad sang on the recordings.
Reportedly, a friend asked her why the person heard on the song "Hold My Hand" doesn't sound like Michael, and Paris replied, "It's NOT him...the whole album isn't even him!! Go online...go on YouTube and look up Jason Malachi . That's him!!" TMZ reports that a recording of the chat is currently being shopped to media outlets.
For his part, Jason Malachi is a previously little-known singer who's notable for sounding like Jackson, though he isn't a Jackson impersonator. A quick online search reveals his name began appearing not long after Jackson's 2009 death. More recently, others have made the same claim as Paris Jackson, saying Michael's posthumous album employs Malachi as a sound-alike.
