PITTSVILLE, Wis. (WSAU) – Three men are under arrest for an early morning home invasion in Pittsville.
The Wood County sheriff’s department says the three men broke into a home in the 5400 block of 2nd Avenue just before 1 a.m. and attacked the homeowners. One of the victims – 36-year-old Jeremiah Stebbins – was taken to Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield with head injuries.
A hospital spokeswoman says Stebbins is in good condition.
Police found the three suspects in a nearby apartment complex after someone called 9-1-1 and reported a loud disturbance. Deputies arrested 24-year-old Jared Voss of Pittsville, 20-year-old Josiah Voss of Wisconsin Rapids and 19-year-old Jamie Mallory of Babcock on disorderly conduct charges. Mallory has since been released from jail.
Investigators say the suspects and the homeowners had been having an ongoing dispute.
