GREEN BAY, Wis. (WSAU) - Two homes being moved from an area near Lambeau Field will be donated to the Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity.
The Packers sold the homes to a moving company. They were relocated last Friday. The Packers had originally decided to tear the homes down, but the moving company agreed to pay six thousand dollars for them. They were moved as a part of the plan to upgrade the stadium.
A new media parking lot will be built where they once stood. The stadium renovation and expansion plan will cost 143 million dollars and is scheduled to be complete by next year.
