WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) Three cars were involved in a chain-reaction crash on Grand Avenue in Wausau on Saturday afternoon. It happened around 4pm near the intersection of Kent Street. A police report says one driver was ticketed for following too close. That vehicle rear-ended another that had slowed down. The third vehicle was unable to avoid the earlier crash. There were no serious injuries.
Two people were hurt when their ATV rolled over near Highway FF in Hamburg. The Marathon County sheriffs department say the a grandmother and her 3-year-old grandson were airlifted to St. Josephs Hospital with serious injuries. Their names haven't been released. The crash is being investigated.
