The On the Floor hitmaker and American Idol judge raked in a whopping $52 million (£32.5 million) over the last year, helping Lopez land the coveted top spot on the new 100 list, which ranks stars according to their visibility, income and social media presence.
Coming in second place was TV titan Oprah Winfrey, while pop star Justin Bieber claimed third spot.
Rounding out the top five are Umbrella hitmaker Rihanna and last year's number one, Lady Gaga, while The X Factor's newest recruit Britney Spears, reality TV beauty Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, Tom Cruise and moviemaker Steven Spielberg have made the 2012 top 10.
