Not long ago, Rihanna announced that in order to promote her new album Unapologetic -- her seventh album in seven years -- she would embark on a "777 Tour" that would see her performing in seven countries in seven days, and jetting between them in a Boeing 777 twinjet. Now, she's revealed where, exactly, the tour will be taking her.
Things will kick off Wednesday, November 14 in Mexico City, followed by November 15 in Toronto, Canada; November 16 in Stockholm, Sweden; November 17 in Paris, France; November 18 in Berlin, Germany; November 19 in London, England and November 20 in New York City. As previously reported, Rihanna will be joined by fans and journalists for the jaunt.
When she arrives in each city, Rihanna will announce exactly where she'll be performing. In a statement, she said, "I am so excited about the 777 Tour. We are turning this jumbo jet into our tour bus. We're practically living on this thing for a week: sleeping, partying, all together. My, my fans, the press...it's going to be a wild ride. I wanted it to be a rock and roll adventure and I think when it's over it will be the coolest thing I've ever done. I'm that excited about it."
It's still not clear exactly how the fans will be chosen to accompany Rihanna on the tour.
