Amy Winehouse ’s former U.K. home, in the Camden Town neighborhood of London, will go to auction after failing to sell on the open market, reports the Camden New Journal .

The former abode of the late singer was marketed for around $4.2 million last year but is listed at a price of just over $2.8 million ahead of its auction next month.  The home is described as “a substantial semi-detached house” which has been “modernized to an exceptionally high standard.” Features include a video entryphone in the door, a gym and a music room with soundproofed walls.

The property became a shrine to Winehouse following her death there in July of last year. The singer was found dead at home at the age of 27.

There are plans to erect a memorial statue outside the famous Roundhouse studios, also in situated in Camden Town.
