MARSHFIELD, WI (WSAU) - Marshfield’s Common Council has approved a revision to the city’s comprehensive zoning ordinance.
Josh Miller is the city’s planning and zoning administrator and says that the new code streamlines the zoning process, and affects every property in Marshfield by regulating building configurations and land use classifications.
According to Miller, “Staff’s excited! There may be items that are adjusted as we go along, but we would like the opportunity to pass this code.”
The Council approved the revision 8 to 0, but a zoning map still needs to be approved before the revised ordinance goes into effect. That will come after another public hearing, set for 7:00 next Tuesday at Marshfield City Hall.
