WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) - Tuesday is the last day on the job for Aspirus Wausau Hospital’s President. Diane Postler-Slattery recently announced she would leave the role to become the President and CEO of Mid-Michigan Health in Midland Michigan.
Communications Director Greg Aune says Marita Hattem will assume Postler-Slattery’s duties until a permanent President is selected.
Aune says it may take a few months before Aspirus Wausau Hospital selects a permanent replacement. He says a firm has been hired to help conduct a nationwide search for candidates.
Diane Postler-Slattery began her career at the hospital as an intensive care unit nurse nearly 25 years ago, and advanced into management roles eventually becoming President.
Aune says Marita Hattem has been the Vice President of Physician Support Services. Her present duties are also being delegated to others in the management team.
Postler-Slattery is originally from Thorp, and told WSAU in a previous interview she will be back to central Wisconsin often visiting family and friends.
