RACINE, WI (WTAQ) - A Racine man pleaded not guilty Wednesday morning to 49 felony charges of molesting six children while he was babysitting them.

28-year-old Alexander Richter waived his right to a preliminary hearing, and he was ordered to stand trial in Racine County on numerous counts of child sexual assault, child sexploitation, and possessing child pornography.

Richter had been a student at Gateway Technical College, and police said his victims were the children of his fellow students. Officials said victims as young as 4 were molested since early 2009, and Richter had produced a sex video called “Monster Unleashed.”

He’s due back in Racine County Circuit Court on December 21st, when a trial date could be set.

District Attorney Rich Chiapete said the case remains under investigation, as a forensic exam continues into Richter’s computer hard drive.
