WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) One of the suspects in a garage break-in that led to a fatal beating pled not guilty. 18-year-old Zachary Froehlich appeared in Marathon County court on Wednesday. He and accomplice Warren Krahn are accused of killing Kerby Kneiss in June.
The victim was sleeping in the back room of a garage on Wausau's east side when the two suspects allegedly broke in. Kneiss was beaten to death with a baseball bat.
Krahn will enter his plea on December 18th. And both suspects are scheduled for pre-trial hearings in January.
