MARSHFIELD (WSAU) You might think “Walking in a Winter Wonderland” is nothing more than the lyrics to a catchy Christmas song, but starting Friday night, that’s exactly what you can do when a dazzling Winter Wonderland display of holiday lights opens in Marshfield’s Wildwood Park.

Event chair Scott Larsen says, “There’s a lot that’s new, and some old traditional favorites,” along with special events taking place almost nightly. Last year, the event collected more than 45,000 food items to benefit 22 food pantries throughout Central Wisconsin.

You can walk, or drive, through that Winter Wonderland from 5 to 9:00, every night, now through New Year’s Eve.
