MADISON, WI (WSAU) It appears that Wisconsin will head to either the Rose Bowl or the Gator Bowl, depending on whether the Badgers beat Nebraska in the Big Ten title game on Saturday night. A victory over the Cornhuskers will send Wisconsin to Pasadena for the third straight year – while a loss could give them a spot in the Gator Bowl against an S-E-C team on New Year’s Day.
The national media is already reminding the Badgers that they’re at the Big Ten title game only a technicality – because the top two teams in their division were ineligible for post-season play. But senior corner Marcus Cromartie says none of the opponents Wisconsin played this year believe the Badgers are a cake-walk.
Wisconsin lost by three points at Nebraska, 30-to-27, in their Big Ten opener in late September.
