STEVENS POINT, Wis (WSAU) A two-day construction project begins later this morning on I-39 in Portage County. The northbound ramp that allows traffic to enter the highway from Portage County HH is being closed. Work crews are finishing a pavement-repair project.

Traffic will be detoured onto County Road R and US 10.

The road will be closed after rush-hour this morning, and should reopen by the end of the day Thursday.
