PITTSVILLE, WI (WSAU) -  Pittsville may get financial help from the state to improve their municipal water supply. Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources officials say the village has applied for funding through the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program.

Pittsville’s proposed project calls for building three new wells, a well house, a treatment facility, an emergency generator and connecting mains.

The DNR is accepting public comments about the project until Monday.
