WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) A man who's accused of shooting out the windows of a parked car with two people inside entered a 'not guilty' plea yesterday. Ka Yeng Xiong of Wausau has a prior criminal record of burglary, battery, and criminal damage to property. A judge refused to lower his $250,000 cash bond. He remains in the Marathon County Jail.
Police say Xiong got into an argument outside a bar on August 5, and that he was followed home to his apartment on Pardee Street. About an hour later he came out of his apartment and opened fire on the vehicle that followed him.
He's charged with two counts of attempted murder. One of the people inside the vehicle was injured by shattered glass.
