UNDATED (WSAU) Police are investigating whether stolen guns from two gun-store break-ins are linked to last Saturday's murder in Weston.
WSAW-TV reports that a 40-caliber casing was found at the shooting scene at the Aspen Street Apartments, and that murder suspect Richi Vue had two weapons when he was arrested. A 40-caliber handgun was among the firearms taken from the Condition One break-in on October 1st.
Vue also had a .357-magnun. That was among the 50 guns stolen from a break-in at Statton's General Store near Tomahawk.
Everest Metro, Wausau, and Tomahawk police will meet today to see if the crimes are linked. They're also waiting for ballistics tests to see if a stolen gun was the murder weapon.
