Drake has earned his high school diploma -- something that he didn't achieve sooner because, ironically, he was focused on portraying fictional high school student Jimmy Brooks on the hit Canadian television series Degrassi: The Next Generation .

Back in August, Drake revealed that he was one credit short of graduating high school.  He told Toronto magazine Now that he'd be spending his summer hitting the books.  That work paid off, as Drizzy revealed on Twitter Wednesday night: "97% on my final exam. 88% in the course."

Drake writes that finishing his studies has given him, "One of the greatest feelings in my entire life."  In another message, he thanks his teacher for "spending the last 5 months working tirelessly" with him.
