Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera may sometimes appear to snipe at each other on screen, but he says that when she and Cee Lo Green take a break from The Voice next season, he's really going to feel a loss.
Speaking to People magazine, Adam said that he's "really excited" to hang out with Christina and Cee Lo's replacements, Usher and Shakira , but admits, "As much as I embrace and welcome the new artists, it's just hard because we spent so much time establishing wonderful chemistry with each other, and I'm going to miss those guys. It becomes like a family, so it does kind of feel like they're leaving the nest. I will miss my brother and sister."
But what about Adam himself? Wouldn't he like to take a break from The Voice to focus on other things, as Cee Lo and Christina are doing? Apparently not. He tells Access Hollywood, "No, ‘cause then there’s a chance that someone could replace me and be better than me and then, I’d be fired. I’m not going anywhere!”
