MERRILL, Wis. (WSAU) - It's a big prank that could land someone in jail in Merrill.
Lincoln County deputies are investigating the theft of a very large pumpkin over the weekend. The 360 pound gourd was outside Gail's Place in the Town of Merrill when someone ran off with it Saturday night.
Deputies believe the pumpkin was probably loaded onto the back of a pick-up truck and several people would have been needed to move it. The pumpkin is valued at around $300 dollars.
