Pridemore disappointed in Walker's lack of support

MADISON, WI (WSAU) - The man who lost the State Superintendent race is disappointed in Governor Scott Walker’s lack of support. Republican State Representative Don Pridemore challenged Tony Evers for the post in the Tuesday election, but lost by a 61-to-39 percent margin.

Walker refused to endorse anyone in the non-partisan Superintendent race, but Pridemore believes he would have been friendlier and more in tune with Walker’s education initiatives than the incumbent.

Pridemore pointed out that Evers signed the petition to recall the Governor, but Walker took no sides in the race.
