MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) Marquette men’s basketball guard Vander Blue said today he’ll give up his senior year of eligibility, and enter the N-B-A Draft in late June. The Golden Eagles say Blue plans to hire an agent – which means he would not be able to change his mind and return to school at the last minute.
Blue said on Twitter that he’s had three great years at Marquette, and he appreciates what the school has done to help him grow. But Blue said now is the time to pursue his dream of playing in the pros.
He had a breakout year for the Golden Eagles this past season, as he led the team in scoring with almost 15 points a game and made the All-Big East second team.
