RIVER FALLS, WI (WTAQ) - Authorities in Utah are investigating the death of a River Falls teenager who apparently fell 300 feet down a canyon.
The body of 19-year-old Donovan Campbell was found Saturday in a ravine below the rim of Eagle Canyon in central Utah off Interstate 70.
He drove a pickup truck from River Falls to visit the Utah canyons, and his parents reported him missing 8 days ago.
Sheriff’s deputies in Emery County said Campbell apparently slipped and fell down the canyon, which is located about 140 miles southeast of Salt Lake City.
A medical examiner is planning an autopsy. Campbell was a sophomore at UW-River Falls.
