GREEN BAY, WI (LEARFIELD-WSAU) Randall Cobb says he’s not satisfied with his performance at Packer Training Camp so far – and that’s why he’s not sitting out of practice while recovering from an injured right biceps.
The third-year receiver and kick returner said he would have to play in pain at some point during the season, so it’s a mindset for him to push through now. Cobb grimaced at practice yesterday but said he would be fine.
He believes he hurt the arm during the Packers’ Family Night scrimmage 11 days ago. Cobb did not play in last Friday night’s exhibition loss to Arizona.
Starting guard T-J Lang missed practice yesterday with a back injury. Running back Eddie Lacy and receiver Kevin Dorsey returned to practice, but both were held out of team drills.
Running back DuJuan Harris also sat out of the team scrimmages after returning to practice on Monday.
Coach Mike McCarthy said corner Casey Hayward is at least a week from returning, after he suffered an injured hamstring early in Training Camp.
